Overview: A Classic File Manager.
Dual panel file manager (much like Norton Commander, Midnight Commander, FAR or Total Commander).
Unlike regular file managers, it copies and moves files between its two panels. Many people consider that way as more convenient than that explorer-like “copy” and then “paste” steps.
Aside the file system on the sdcard, this file manager can also upload or download files from FTP servers and Windows network shares (Samba plug-in required), create or extract ZIP archives.
For the advanced users, this file manager has also the “root:” (su – super user) mode that is essential to work with system files on a rooted phone, change file permissions attributes (chmod) and even execute your own shell commands. Plus, the “mount:” mode allows you to browse and remount the file system’s partitions.
Please note! Tap on the right side of the panel to select multiple files. Tap on the left side to activate a file or enter a folder. Yes, one side will activate, and the other side will select.
Furthermore the application comes with a lot of customizable options which allow you to adjust its behavior to your personal habits.
The Ghost Commander file manager features include but not limited to:

Samba Plugin v1.17:
A plug-in to the “Ghost Commander file manager” to
access to Windows network shared folders (also referenced as SMB, Samba, CIFS or even NetBios).
(It requires the “Ghost Commander file manager” to be installed. Without it won’t work and no icon is created.)
To use this plugin from “Ghost Commander” go to Menu->Location->”Open Windows network share”.
Enter your server name and the credentials (if any). Tap the “Connect” button.
It should be able to show the list of windows PC or Samba servers in the network.
Type in the URI like “smb://your_domain_name” to get the list of the nodes.
